Calling all Junior Explorers! You’re invited to spend the morning with the Kiawah Conservancy and Charleston Area Beekeepers Association (CABA) to learn about bees and native pollinators.
Andre Dublin, the president of CABA, will guide us through an interactive presentation to discuss native pollinators, the role they play in our environment, and how we can help them.
Then we'll become “busy bees” and build our own bee hotel! All materials will be provided. You'll also take home native plant seed balls to plant and attract local pollinators (including bees) to your yard!
Space is limited and registration is required.
One adult per family.
Adults must stay with children at all times.
WHEN: Thursday, April 4 TIME: 10-11 am WHERE: Kiawah Island Town Hall (4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway)
