Volunteers are needed to harvest the sweetgrass from the 2025 growing season. There are two harvesting days scheduled in August and September. The harvest will take place early in the morning while there is still dew on the plants. The process is simple but labor intensive. It involves bundling, cutting, moving, and loading each sweetgrass plant. Volunteer assistance is crucial to harvesting the grass and helping preserve this cultural tradition.
