Nature-based solutions are becoming preferred infrastructure practices due to their ability to increase the resilience of both human and wildlife communities. The Kiawah Conservancy developed the Nature-Based Solutions Manual for Kiawah Island in 2023 which provides descriptions of viable practices within the Lowcountry.
In this presentation, the Kiawah Conservancy's senior ecological health and conservation coordinator, Lee Bundrick, will discuss nature-based solutions and the benefits they provide for coastal resilience.
Please join us for this informative presentation. Doors will open at 7:00 pm for refreshments. The presentation will begin at 7:30 pm followed by questions and answers. Space is limited and registration is required for those coming off island to receive a visitor's pass. We look forward to seeing you there!
