Tuesday, October 3: WALK WITH MEGHAN KEATING
3:00-4:00 pm - The Preserve (parking on Grey Widgeon Lane)
Meghan Keating is a graduate student working with the Town of Kiawah and the Kiawah Conservancy to study how the island’s bobcats are being affected by second-generation anticoagulant (SGA) poisoning. This will be an hour long walk to discuss bobcat habitat livability and how the Community can support the Town with their initiatives.

Friday, October 6: BOBCATS AND BLUEGRASS
2:00-5:00 pm - Kiawah Island Municipal Center (4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway)
Join us at the Kiawah Municipal Center for a special event to celebrate Save Kiawah Bobcats Week and the Bobcat Guardian Program. Enjoy a presentation on the program by Town biologists and Clemson PhD student, Meghan Keating; followed by local cocktail and wine tastings and bluegrass music on the lawn from the Bluestone Ramblers.
Learn about the success of the Bobcat Guardian Program, ongoing bobcat research, and how you can help to protect our magnificent bobcats. Prizes and giveaways will also be available. This event is hosted by the Town of Kiawah Island and is for ages 21+ only.
