Come see wild birds up close and learn about their biology and ecology. Town of Kiawah Assistant Biologist, Aaron Given, will demonstrate banding techniques while he explains why we band birds and what we learn from monitoring them. Be prepared to walk at least one mile to get to the banding area on the beach, over dunes, and also into the habitat behind the dunes. Keep in mind that the area may be wet due to rain and tides.
